Description
On 2nd May 2015 the 9th/12th Royal Lancers and the Queen’s Royal Lancers amalgamated to form The Royal Lancers thus uniting the long and proud histories of six original Lancer regiments which date back to 1689.
To mark the 10th Anniversary of this historic occasion, The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths’ Own) will explore their achievements of the past decade and look forward to continuing their role as an armoured cavalry regiment in the British Army.
As well as an illustrated talk, there will be an opportunity to meet serving members of The Royal Lancers and see some of the star objects from the collections which represent the antecedent Lancer regiments.
