Samvāda in Clay: An Indo-British Ceramics Exhibition Preview
Join us for the exhibition preview of Samvāda in Clay – an Indo-British International Ceramics Residency and Exhibition at Artcore Gallery. This exciting cross-cultural initiative brings together celebrated Indian ceramic artist Vinod Daroz and dynamic UK-based artist Abbie Sunter for a creative exchange rooted in clay. The residency provided a space for material exploration, conceptual dialogue, and the creation of new works that reflect personal, cultural, and geographical influences. “Samvāda”, meaning dialogue in Sanskrit, captures the spirit of this collaboration – an introspective, cross-cultural conversation that reimagines traditions through contemporary ceramic practice.
Exhibition Preview: 📅 Friday 18 July 2025 🕠 5:30pm – 7:30pm 📍 Artcore Gallery, 8 Osnabruck Square, Albert Street, Derby, DE1 2DS Book your free place here
