Description
Join us for the official FORMAT25 launch on the 13 March with exhibition previews taking place across the city of Derby followed by an afterparty at FORMAT’s HQ, QUAD. Venues will be opening their doors from 6.00pm including QUAD, Museum of Making and 19 Chapel street.
The official opening of FORMAT25 will kick off with the following exhibition previews:
6:00pm, 19 Chapel Street – An introduction will be given by FORMAT Coordinator Jenna Eady to launch the festival and exhibiting artists within 19 Chapel St.
7:00pm, Museum of Making – Director Tony Butler will welcome everyone to the Museum and a tribute speech will be made for John Blakemore.
8:00pm, QUAD – Launch of the FORMAT25 Main exhibition, V2: Rigged will be opened by artist Felicity Hammond. As well as welcome speeches from QUAD CEO Eleanor Thornley and FORMAT Curator Jodi Kwok.
The FORMAT25 After Party will take place at QUAD from 8:30pm until late, featuring DJ’s, food and more.
