Description
107 years after the Armistice that ended the massive battles of the First World War, the world - and Belper -was forever changed. The wars brought huge movements of people, enormous demands on industry, and social upheaval that touched every corner of life.
On this walking tour, you’ll uncover the places where these dramatic changes shaped our town, hear fascinating stories of courage, resilience, and transformation, and see history come alive around every corner.
Walk Leader: John Morrissey.
