On 24th May, Derby Market Hall will open its doors, bringing a vibrant new space for shopping, dining, and local culture. This historic venue has been transformed into a must-visit destination, and we can’t wait to see what it has in store. But that’s not all – Becketwell Live is also gearing up to open its doors, offering a fresh venue for live music and events in the heart of the city.

Reopening from Saturday 24 May, Derby Market Hall will be a treasure trove of unique finds and delicious treats, perfect for a day of shopping, dining and entertainment.
Step into our lovingly restored Victorian market hall, featuring a new modern dining area, permanent and pop-up retail stalls, bars and cafés, and creative spaces for artisan traders.
Inside, you’ll find a fantastic mix of stalls selling everything from fresh Derbyshire produce to quirky gifts, pet supplies and vintage clothing. Find a unique gift for someone special, pick up ingredients for tonight’s meal, or just take a browse.
Discover award-winning international street food, bars and cafés in our vibrant new dining experience. Sample exotic dishes from Asia, South America, the Caribbean and beyond, indulge in sweet treats like authentic Italian gelato and Dutch pancakes, and quench your thirst with a selection of handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and local beers.
An ongoing programme of events and activities will bring the Market Hall to life throughout the week with regular themed markets, live music, DJs, interactive workshops and food and drink events.
