Yarn Bombing at the Museum of Making with Woollen Woods

Free to attend, donations welcome

The Museum of Making has been shortlisted for Art Fund Museum of the Year 2022. As part of this, Derby Museums has partnered with Woollen Woods, Belper on a series of yarn bombing workshops at the Museum of Making this summer, leading to a mass yarn bombing on Cathedral Green!

Yarn bombing is a type of graffiti or street art which uses crocheted yarn or fibre rather than paint or chalk.

The drop-in sessions will lead as an introduction to crocheting where you can make your own pieces to be added to the yarn bombing.

Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Are you a maker or group of makers interested in supporting yarn bombing at the Museum of Making?  Email to find out how you can get involved!

Drop-in workshop between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
