Free event, suggested donation of £2 per person on the day
Come and join Scarsdale Vets for a mass participation dog walk from Pride Veterinary Centre on Pride Park along the riverside path to Alvaston Park and back again. After your leisurely stroll with your pooch you are invited to return to Pride Veterinary Centre for a fun afternoon, with a variety of stalls and activities taking place. Everyone is welcome. All money raised from the dog walk and fun afternoon will be donated to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Sensible closed shoes. Toilets available at the veterinary practice and at Alvaston Park.

Accessible? Yes
The route is paved throughout and accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. At the start of the walk the pavement is uneven. If anyone needs help with negotiating the uneven pavement, marshals will be on hand to help.

Dogs allowed on leads? Yes
All dog owners are responsible for their own dog’s behaviour. Dogs must be on leads.
