The Heights of Abraham is proud to present one of the UK's very best Punch and Judy shows three times a day during the summer school holidays.
Shows take place at 11.30am 1.30pm and 3.30pm every day. Performed by Puppet Master and Film Puppeteer Richard Coombs, this traditional show has plenty of modern tricks and surprises, as well as a guest role for the Cable Car Operators at the Heights (or their puppet equivalents at least).
The show lasts about half an hour and is presented within a spectacular puppet booth to be found on the Vista Restaurant Patio. Come rain or shine the show takes place, with shelter from the hot sun and the odd spot of rain.
This will be Richard's 15th year at the Heights, and it's true to say that his shows have got more spectacular and ambitious with every year. You're in for a real treat at the Heights this summer!

The Tree Tops Cafe also provides meals and snacks, with picnic tables outside if you wish to see the show and dine at the same time. And what could be more traditional than an ice cream as the puppets take to the stage? The nearby Ice Cream Kiosk offers a range of Matlock Meadows ices that will send your taste buds soaring as high as the cable cars.
