One Tree at a Time

Explore Stand Wood and learn more about one of our magnificent native species. 

These interactive sessions are designed to help you see the tree from the wood. From providing homes for animals and plants to regulating the climate, trees are life support systems for many things. Each session is based on a different tree in Stand Wood and you will leave with a love for every last bit of root, bark, trunk, branch, twig and leaf!

Featured trees include oak, birch, ash and holly.

This event is available on the following dates:

  • 25 April
  • 6 June
  • 4 July
  • 26 September
  • 17 October

This event is suggested for children under 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

10am to 1pm.
