Be one of the first to see behind-the-scenes at the Silk Mill as this magnificent Derby landmark transforms into the new Museum of Making. On this exclusive tour of the construction site, you will learn about the history of the building and find out about future plans for the site, which is due to open to the public in 2020.


Please note this is currently a live building site so there is no lift service available to access the upper floors as part of the tour. Wheelchairs may be able to access the ground floor – please enquire in advance before booking. On arrival you will have a quick security induction and PPE will be provided – please wear sensible, sturdy footwear.*
