Half-term activities in the farmyard

Our farmyard and playground will be open throughout the May half-term holiday giving your little ones the opportunity to let off steam in the great outdoors.

We can't wait to welcome you.

Available daily from 28 May - 5 June, unless otherwise noted.

Crafts in the barn

10am - 4pm

Half-term crafts and activities for creative kids in our farmyard barn.

Animal handling

10.30am, 1.00pm, 3.30pm

Little animal lovers are invited to handle our smaller furry friends and learn more about them.

Cow milking

11am

Meet our herd of dairy cattle as they come into the farmyard to be milked.

Tractor and trailer rides

11.30am & 2pm small fee of £2 per person applies, tickets on a first come first served basis

Hop in our trailer and have an adventure in Stand Wood.

Goat milking

2.30pm

Join our farmyard team as they milk the goats.

Farmyard Jubilee trail

A Jubilee themed trail around the farmyard.

Animal feeding

Meet our animals up close and feed them a snack while you're here. Pick up your animal feed bag on entry for a small charge.

Go on a bear hunt

2-5 June only, small fee of £2 per child applies, tickets on a first come first served basis

The Chatsworth bears are hiding in the farmyard; little ones can join in the search and may even find some chocolate treats as well.

Teddy bears picnic

2-5 June only

Bring your little ones and their bear-y best friends for a picnic in the farmyard paddock.
