The FORMAT19 all-day conference organised by DMARC, University of Derby, will be a multi-strand event, looking at the themes of the festival, FOREVER//NOW.

The Photo Book Market is once again curated by Sebastian Arthur Hau and will have some old favourites and new imprints for browsers and collectors. In support of the growing interest in, and importance of the photo book, Bethany Kane will curate a selection of UK based independent imprints and publishers.
FORMAT19 will host a series of talks organised by the Pan European collaboration programme Parallel, which will take place in venues across Derby during the opening weekend. Or join Thierry Geoffroy on one of his Critical Runs and debate photography, art and the state of the world, while getting fit.
IC-Visual Lab will be presenting a series of guerrilla screenings of Brexit themed interventions around Derby also try the FORMAT19 beers brewed by the micro-brewery Suds and Soda.
