Fluid Dynamics - Dance in Unexpected Places: David Wilson Clarke

30th March 2020 - 9th May 2020 Free

Where should dance be performed? In a studio, a theatre? Why not in remote places, seldom seen. The focus of dance is on the movement, but environment and costume change our perception of dance and influences the dancer’s improvisation. David started to invite dancers to interesting locations to learn how to photograph dance and forgot to stop. This provided a rich variety of photoshoots, working with both experienced dancers and those at the beginningof their career.

David is a freelance photographer of dance, performance art and art documentation.

Exhibition Launch: Thursday 12 March 6.30-8.00pm.
