Black Lives Matter: Poems for a New World was published in 2020 following a call out for poems responding to Black Lives Matter. Over 500 poems and short prose were submitted from writers around the world with 107 chosen for the anthology
This event will feature readings of poems and short prose from the book. Editor Ambrose Musiyiwa and featured writers will talk about the motivation for writing and collating poems featured in the book and how poems can help shape new worlds.
There will also be opportunities to ask contributing writers and discussion panel members about their work.
