The Eagle Market

Following the Government’s update that all non-essential shops are to close, we can confirm that The Eagle Market will now be operating on a partially closed basis. The Eagle Market sits at the heart of its community and provides access to vital services such as food and pet supplies. As some of these essential services can be reached through the market, we will ensure all our visitors are able to access the services they need whilst supporting those traders who need to stay open. A small number of the team will be on hand to make sure the market remains clean and safe places to visit. We would like to thank our fantastic team at The Eagle Market who are working very hard in very challenging circumstances, to support our traders, serve our communities and take care of one another. Our thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time.

Eagle Market has been established at the heart of Derby’s retail heritage for decades, and now as part of intu Derby, the market is continuously growing to offer the very best of all produce and services for the people of Derby and it’s visitors.

Whether it’s a visit to Candy Craft for a selection of over 100 pic ‘n’ mix sweets, Woodhouse’s Pet Superstore for a new quirky pet toy or treat, or Morgan’s Deli for award winning cheeses and cured meats – under Eagle Market’s roof you will find all you need.

The market is situated inside the intu Derby shopping centre, with added entrances from the various car parks and East Street. With over 90 stalls with a mixed trade from fruit and vegetables and textiles to books and spiritual gifts, a friendly face and a warm welcome is guaranteed at all of our stalls.

Open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, Eagle Market is a staple part of the Derby experience that cannot be missed.
