Throughout the lockdown period our centres have been operating on a partially open basis, supporting essential services such as pharmacies, supermarkets and banks. Following Government guidance you will now gradually see more of our stores and facilities open with non-essential shops permitted to reopen from 15 June.
The safety and wellbeing of our visitors and teams is our top priority, and as a result the experience for everyone that visits one of our centres will be different to normal. This is so we can keep everyone as safe as possible when they choose to visit us. To learn more about what to expect, visit our dedicated safety and wellbeing page.
The centre can be accessed on foot via entrances at The Spot (near Poundland), London Road and Albion Street. If you are driving to the centre please be aware that Centre and Riverside car parks are now closed, but Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks are open.
In times like these we at intu are doing what we can to help. We know it’s a small gesture and with Government advice to essential workers to avoid public transport in mind, as of today, anyone who wishes to park in our Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks can do so free of charge. That will help our visitors who need to pick up essential items, key workers who are doing such a fantastic job as well as our local communities.
We would like to thank our fantastic team at intu who are working very hard in very challenging circumstances, to support our retailers, serve our communities and take care of one another. Our thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time.
