Situated in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, our beautiful historic building offers a range of spaces available to hire – for meetings, conferences, rehearsals, performances, parties and more.

Studio Room Hire

Our three high quality dance studios are available to hire for rehearsals, auditions, private classes or could be used as an alternative conference space.

We are proud that all of our studios match industry standards and comply with the Fit to Dance Space Charter.

If you need a room for your team-building sessions, training, or an alternative conference space, we can also provide a studio with, or without, tables and chairs and can set-up projection facilities at your request.

• Studio 1 specifications: 125.60m2 (comes equipped with Aerial fitness equipment)
• Studio 2 specifications: 89.67m2
• Studio 3 specifications: 115.33m2 (Comes equipped with sound system and Harlequin dance floor. Please note that no outdoor footwear can be used in this space.

Costs from January 2023: £25 per hour / £80 per half day /£140 per day (rehearsals and workshops)

Theatre Hire

Seating up to 124, the theatre offers an impressive, flexible space giving you ultimate control over creative presentation and impact. Packages available from £375 + VAT for conferences or corporate events and £825 + VAT for productions or concerts. Deposit of £125 payable for all Theatre hires at the time of booking. Additional performances/matinee available with a surcharge fee of £220 + VAT.

Déda café|bar Hire

The Déda café|bar is the ideal venue to throw a private party or host a special occasion. With a fully licensed bar and a homemade catering offer that can be tailor made to your wishes and taste.

We regularly host; milestone birthday parties as well as offering a unique children's party packages. It is the perfect venue for intimate wedding receptions, retirement parties, naming ceremonies, office parties, gigs, networking events and social meet-ups.

We have a large array of unique entertainment options available and a friendly team that will take all the stress out of organizing an event.

Each party is handled by a designated party organiser who will advise and assist in the planning and organising of the event to ensure the smooth running of the party when the day comes. We aim to make it hassle free!

Prices start from £75 + VAT per evening from 6pm* with the option of a late bar
