Darley Park

Darley Park is a large, picturesque and popular park situated within walking distance of the city centre. It is located on the River Derwent at the gateway to the World Heritage Site.

The park is popular with visitors from across the County and is a peaceful place to escape city life. It hosts many events throughout the year, including the classical Darley Park Concert.

There is disabled access to the park with paths, and a disabled toilet. The entrance to the cafe is flat and there is also outdoor seating availale. Please note that the paths do not run across the whole park.

This year’s open day is on Sunday, 14 August. The volunteers will be on hand to answer all your hydrangea related questions and there will be our usual free guided tours at 11am and 2pm.
Classic Ibiza returns to Darley Park this summer for an open-air celebration of White Isle-inspired house music.
Take a trip down memory lane, to the era where the fashion and perms were bold, and the hits were non-stop.
An evening of classical music and fireworks – don’t forget your picnic!
