Cathy Hastie lectures in management, organisation and HR and talks on the social and cultural journey of menopause throughout history to 21st Century organisations. Her current research explores how the identity of menopausal women is shaped in organisations. Having spent a career in HR, she wrote her book on menopause at work as a guide for organisations on supporting menopausal workers. Cathy is now researching how organisation culture around mid-life is affected by products and commercialisation.
