We're Good to Go!
Derby Museum & Art Gallery may have been closed for venue bookings since late March due to Covid-19, but we've been working hard to get everything ready for your safe return.
Our space in The Wardwick is now available to hire and can provide your team (up to 30 people) with a large and safe space to come together for training or meetings.
Derby's stunning red-brick, former Central Library building on The Wardwick was designed in 1876 in Flemish Gothic style. Its striking arched entrance, beautiful glass atrium and ornate mezzanine balcony, full of curiosities, make this a unique and stylish venue, located in the very heart of the city.
With our new socially distanced layout in this space, we can happily host meetings, training days and events for up to 30 people (number of delegates subject to Government guidelines at the time).
Every effort has been made to ensure a safe environment for our guests and staff with new procedures now in place including:
Two metre social distancing at all times (also reflected in the furniture layout).
Hand sanitising stations on arrival and available throughout your event.
Doors opened for guests to ensure touch points are reduced.
Full clean and sanitising of room, toilets and equipment before and after each event and between sessions where necessary.
Hand towels available in washrooms for drying hands.
Signage to prompt good hand hygiene.
Procedures sent to all attendees prior to meetings to ensure everyone is aware of how to proceed when at the museum.
Full risk assessment carried out for all events taking place to ensure they are Covid-19 safe.
Day delegate rate (minimum 20 people) @ £25+VAT to include:

Unlimited tea and coffee
Individual lunch boxes, dietary requirements accommodated
Dedicated Events Manager

With a licensed bar and room for 200 guests to dance the night away, it offers a fantastic space to mark not only a special occasion, but the flexibility for larger scale events including weddings, conferences and fairs.
