Information relating to Coronavirus.

The UK Government have released a roadmap out of lockdown. You can find information on how restrictions are being lifted by date.  Find out what that means for Derby

Derby Market Place

From Saturday 17 April 2021, Derby’s Market Place will again be transformed into an exciting alfresco dining experience for people to enjoy freshly prepared food by local cafés, restaurants and pubs. Subject to the Government’s roadmap out of restrictions, the space will evolve into a live entertainment venue featuring events and festivals. This vibrant ‘meeting and eating’ space will be a place where friends, colleagues and families can meet, eat and chill out and be entertained in a safe environment.

This year Derby Market Place is available for private hire for all sorts of functions. If you are interested, drop us a line at tourism.marketing@derby.gov.uk.

Derby Market Place (DE1 3AH) is located in the heart of Derby's Cathedral Quarter, with great transport links from all areas of the City and just a few minutes walk from the Bus Station. It is surrounded by two of Derby's entertainment venues - Guildhall Theatre and QUAD, along with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
