Derby Cafés, Bars and Restaurants Offering Takeaway and Delivery

Many of our favourite eateries have diversified and are now offering alternative services such as takeaways and deliveries in order to still cater for serving their loyal customers.

This blog gives a list of some of the best offers from across the city. If there is a restaurant or cafe that is not on this list that you feel should be, drop us an email at

1. Anoki


Derby's finest Indian restaurant is offering contactless deliveries of its famed cuisine to local areas across Derbyshire with its Anoki Express Van.

A wide selection of curries, appetisers and sides are available, freshly prepared in the restaurant on the day of purchase.

Daily delivery areas, times and their menu are available to view on their Facebook page.

2. The Hole in the Wall


With the unfortunate closure of all Derby Brewing Company sites, the Brewery are now offering a takeaway service of cans, bottles and draft beer from its newly-opened micropub in Mickleover, The Hole in the Wall.

Simply call or message them via Facebook to make your order, they will arrange contactless payment and place your order outside for you to collect.

The selection changes daily, you can find out the menu and their opening times on their Facebook page.

3. Morley Hayes


Morley Hayes Golf Club has launched a takeaway service for its high-end restaurants.

Free delivery is available within five miles of the club with a minimum spend of £20.

Only meals from the Roosters Bar and Restaurant are available for takeaway.

Meals can be delivered between 12pm and 8pm by calling 01332 780480.

4. Shiny Tap & Brewery


The Shiny Tap is now open for takeaway on selected days. The Brewery are also continuing to offer deliveries of their beer to customers within a 5-mile radius.

Beer quantities range from cans and bottles to 5L mini-kegs and 10L bag-in-box beers.

5. Bluebell Dairy


Click and Collect

The easy, safe way to shop with countryside view!

  • Place your order and pay online up to midday the day before collection.

  • Then at your collection date & time come to the farm, park up in one of the marked bays

  • Open your car boot we will bring it out and put it in your car

Bluebells Deliveries

Bluebells are offering deliveries straight to your door. The online shop allows you to browse all their produce and amend your weekly order in an easy to use format.

6. The Old Bell Hotel


The Old Bell, Derby's last surviving coaching inn, is offering a delivery service of food and drink during the lockdown.

Its opening times for online orders are :

Sunday 11:45 – 16:55

Wednesday – Saturday 11:45 – 19:00

7. The Dining Room


The Dining Room is launching a take-away and delivery service for its entire menu. Simply call them on 01332 613991 to place your order.

Delivery costs £3 or free on orders over £30 within a 3 mile radius.

8. Dancing Duck Brewery Shop


The gang at Dancing Duck Brewery are offering an online click and collect service for products in their Brewery shop. Simply order and collect from their site in Derby city centre.

They are also offering deliveries on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a £3 charge. Please see their Facebook page for more details.

9. Derby Pyclets


Despite the recent closure of Derby Pyclet Parlour in Derby's Eagle Market, the Derby-based bakery are offering a delivery service of their famous oatcakes and pyclets, as well as selected groceries such as eggs, juice and vegetables.

Browse the menu and make an order on their website. Deliveries are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

10. Robinson's Drive-Thru Farm Shop at National Forest Adventure Farm


Buy a range of quality fresh food from the safety of your car. There will be daily deliveries of fresh meat, bread, fruit, veg, milk and dairy products. The range and prices may change daily, so please check our product list before you visit. Order and pay via contactless card payment from your car and we'll bring your shopping and put it in your car boot. No need to leave your car!

11. The Dragon at Willington


The Dragon are excited to announce that their takeaway service is back by popular demand.

They have used the time, as promised, to ensure their health and hygiene are of the highest possible standard and following all UK government and WHO guidelines.

  • 20% discounts for our contactless collection service
  • A further 10% discount for all NHS workers that can provide proof of their employment on collection

12. Suds & Soda


Derby's favourite craft beer bottleshop and bar is offering takeout sales of some of the best international beers on selected Fridays while stocks last.

13. The Furnace Inn


The Furnace are now offering takeout sales of delicious ales from around the world for you to enjoy at home.

Opening hours are Friday 3-7pm, Saturday 3-7pm, Sunday 10-1pm (subject to change).

14. The Wonky Table


The Wonky Table are offering a takeaway and delivery service of their delicious food and drinks. 

This service usually operates on Friday to Sunday, please check before ordering.

15. Cosmo


Cosmo have started a takeaway & have teamed up with JustEat to offer a delivery service or you can phone in your order and collect contact free. They have three sensational set menus starting at just £5.99. The service is available daily from 11.30pm-2pm (last orders at 1.30pm) and 5.30pm-8pm (last orders at 7.30pm). 16. The Kedleston Country House


Our doors may still be closed, but our takeaway service is NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE.

17. Annie's Burger Shack Derby


Call & Collect will be returning to Annie’s Burger Shack from Thursday 21st May!

18. The Palfrey


Located in the historic Old Blacksmiths Yard on Sadler Gate, The Palfrey is a unique and contemporary restaurant and wine bar.

The Palfrey are delivering a three course set menu with some mouth-watering dishes as well as deliveries of their delicious home-made bread.

19. Seven Restaurant & Cafe Bar


Seven, Pride Park's fashionable cafe bar and restarant, are delighted to bring “Seven to you” by launching their Deliveroo and Call & Collect service from 21st May.

24. Zest Food Service

During lockdown, Zest have altered their traditional business-to-business supply to offer home delivery of their restaurant quaity groceries and produce across Derby and the surrounding areas. They are also hosting pop-up shops in the city on selected dates. Please see our What's On page for further information on pop-up shops. 



25. BEAR


BEAR Iron Gate re-opens for takeaways on 10th June. Restricted hours of service will be in place from 9am - 2pm, Wednesday - Sunday.
