The Jenson Button Trust Triathlon

Now in its sixth year, the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon is a true family event. It includes not only one of Britain’s best triathlon competitions but also a buzzing event village with prizes presented by Jenson. For families and spectators there will be a host of activities throughout the park and live music in the heart of the event village.

Whether you are an experienced triathlete or just up for the challenge it has something to offer everyone, not to mention getting to race an F1 World Champion and fundraising a huge amount for the Jenson Button Trust and affiliated charities.

Sunday 23 July 2017 is the date, Markeaton Park Derby, is the venue.

Whether you want to take on the challenge alone or as part of the team you will get to experience the unique atmosphere and the chance to compete twice in the same day

Race alongside elite athletes and Jenson Button himself in the open water, closed road cycle route and park-based run.

Individual Event

£85 per entry

Take on the course twice in the day with morning qualifiers and afternoon finals.

The super-sprint heats (200m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run) are perfect for all triathletes.

Team Relay

£125 per team of three

Join up with two friends to take on the course together as part of a relay team.

You'll still get to compete twice in the day, but you each only complete one leg of the triathlon each time.


Free Family Triathlon

Not only does the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon offer the chance to race twice in a day, it also provides a rare opportunity to take part in an open-water triathlon alongside your children.

Swim in the same lake, use the same closed roads for cycling and run along the same paths as the main triathlon - and all for free!
