2014 will see the largest ever Real Ale Festival in the world, come to Derby!
The Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) National Festival will be held at Derby's top events arena The Roundhouse.
The decision has been arrived at on the back of the success of the well-established Derby Winter & Summer Beer Festivals which attracted 7,000 visitors, a high spot for local drinkers for more than 30 years.
And now Derby, described as "The Real Ale Capital of England", will be home to the National Event.

The Derbyshire landmark Chatsworth House has been voted one of the 'must-see' attractions of the world, beating the likes of the Pyramid of Giza and New York City in the process.
Hundreds of people from the UK who took part in the poll, put Chatsworth third, behind Stonehenge and Rome.
The survey was run by the international computing firm Intel to find out what participants thought were the world's top must-see locations.

The Olympic Torch is set to stay in Derbyshire as part of its journey to the Olympic Stadium in London.
A special evening event on 29th June will see Derby celebrate the torch in style, including Derby's Classical Concert at Darley Park, which this year has been brought foward to combine the once in a life time celebrations.
Derby will see a weekend of entertainment as well as live television coverage of the city during the event.

The article also looked at Derby's new Arts Centre - Deby QUAD, as well as its rich history, music and entertainment scene.
Derby's retail offering was also admired with Westfield Derby and the Cathedral Quarter getting a mention!

An international deal aimed at bringing thousands of Chinese tourists to Derby could mean millions of pounds for the county's economy.
Officials have set up new links with the huge northern Chinese province of Shanxi, which has a population of 20 million.
Latest statistics from Visit Britain, the British Tourist Authority, show that on an average 13-day visit to Britain, Chinese tourists spend £1,310.
A report drawn up by the organisation shows nearly 200,000 annual visitors are expected from China by 2014.
And it adds that 77% of Chinese holiday-makers choose tourist destinations for natural scenic beauty and 67% for history and culture - two areas in which Derbyshire can excel.
