Derby Ghost Breaks - if you dare!

If you dare, take a Derby Ghost Break. Developed by Richard Felix, the former infamous presenter on TV's 'Most Haunted' and his son Edward, these breaks will scare the living daylights out of you.

Derby, more haunted than York, is fondly known as 'The Dead Centre of England' and spooky sightings around the city are well ingrained. There is a choice of three spooky experiences, so pick the one that scares you the most, or combine more than one for a longer stay.

Derby City Centre Ghost Walk

Enjoy captivating story-telling around the City streets; descend down haunted underground tunnels with many surprises en-route. The walk is interwoven with pub-stops and a light 'Survivors Supper' to finish.

(Available Monday to Thursday nights throughout the year and on the first Saturday of every month).

Friar Gate Ghost Walk

Starting at Derby Gaol, listen to bloodcurdling tales of horrific murders, executions and ghostly occurrences around Derby's dark streets, Visit the Friary cellars, haunted by a black monk before returning to the gaol, where you can enjoy a Condemned Man's Supper, before being allowed home, unlike so many before you.

Overnight Vigils at Derby Gaol

Built in 1756 with a long history of imprisonment, death and misery, there have been many reported paranormal occurrences and sightings in the reputedly haunted Derby Gaol. So be very afraid as you experience the Ouiji board, seance and 'lock in' until 4am.
